Jemma Foster is an inter-disciplinary artist, writer and creative consultant. Her work researches human and more-than-human consciousness and imagination at the intersection of art and technology.

Rooted in the healing arts, her practice draws from alchemy, geomancy and social dreaming, to create bio-therapeutic soundscapes, immersive installations and guided rituals for interspecies communication. Actively advocating for the agency and rights of plants, she has spoken before leaders and policy makers for systems change, and her work has been exhibited and performed internationally including Somerset House, Barbican, ICA London and the UN Conference of Parties.

Jemma is the founder and director of creative consultancy and experience design studio
Wild Alchemy Lab, which also publishes printed matter including an augmented-reality print journal. She is half of award-winning artist duo Semantica, whose practice incorporates sound, film, generative art and sculptural works to examine ways of sensing and co-creating with more-than-human worlds.

Published works include Sacred Geometry (Octopus, 2020), Wild Alchemy Lab: An Astro-botanical Remedy Deck (Laurence King, 2023), Wild Alchemy: An Astro-Botanical Guide to the Magic, Myth and Medicine of Plants (Laurence King, 2024).
